HONOLULU — A Coast Guard Air Station Barbers Point HC-130 Hercules aircrew medevac a 56-year-old man, a contractor, from Wake Island to Hawaii, yesterday Monday. HONOLULU — The Coast Guard and Honolulu Fire Department rescue two people from a downed Boeing 737 inter-island transport plane 2-miles south of Kalaeloa, Oahu, Friday. Both people aboard were rescued by an Air Station Barbers Point MH-65 Dolphin helicopter and Honolulu Fire Department rescue boat and brought to The Queen’s Medical Center. HONOLULU — Coast Guard rescue aircrews medevac a mariner from the commercial fishing vessel “Vicious Cycle,” 130-miles southwest of Kailua Kona, Hawaii, Tuesday. The mariner was hoisted from the vessel by an Air Station Barbers Point MH-65 Dolphin helicopter crew and brought to awaiting emergency medical services (EMS) at Queens Medical Center.
