
Dallas, TX (March 9, 2022) — Bell Textron Inc., a Textron Inc. (NYSE: TXT) company, announced that Mr. David Lukes, CEO of SMARTTECH based in Prague (Czech Republic) signed a purchase agreement for a Bell 407GXi. The expected delivery is August 2022 out of Mirabel, Canada.

SMARTTECH is a provider of solar and wind power stations in the Czech Republic. Mr. Lukes was initially a Bell 505 owner utilizing the aircraft for private transportation but SMARTTECH is now upgrading to a Bell 407GXi.

The single-engine Bell 407 helicopter, powered by a Rolls Royce 250-C47E/4 turboshaft with dual channel FADEC safety engine system, offers a robust customer experience with best-in-class speed, performance, and reliability.
There are currently more than 1,500 Bell 407 helicopters in service worldwide, with 110 aircraft operating in Europe on the IFR-certified single-engine platform with more than six million flight hours accumulated by the entire global fleet.
The European customers use the Bell 407 for a wide variety of missions, including public safety, firefighting, VIP and corporate transport, and more.
The Bell 407 is an aircraft with a wide cabin entrance, which provides quick loading capacity and seating for up to six passengers. This single-engine Bell Helicopter has the widest cabin door in its class and more than 100 cubic feet of flexible passenger space.
