BOSTON — The Coast Guard is searching for five persons from the missing submarine offshore Cape Cod.
The Canadian research vessel Polar Prince lost contact with their submarine during a dive, approximately 900 nautical miles east of Cape Cod, Sunday morning.
A Coast Guard Air Station Elizabeth City, North Carolina, HC-130 Hercules response aircraft aircrew, as well as a Royal Canadian Navy P-8 Poseidon aircraft aircrew equipped with underwater sonar capability, are currently searching for the missing submersible.
