HOUSTON — A Coast Guard MH-65 Dolphin helicopter aircrew rescue a man from the roof of his truck in Huntsville, Texas. Monday, April 29, 2024.

U.S. Coast Guard Sector Houston-Gavleston watchstanders received multiple calls reporting stranded vehicles in flood water near Lake Livingston in Huntsville, Texas.

The Huntsville Police Department stood up an incident command post and requested Coast Guard assistance. Sector Houston-Galveston watchstanders diverted a Coast Guard Air Station Houston MH-65E Dolphin Short-Range Recovery Helicopter aircrew to assist.

The MH-65 Dolphin SRR helicopter aircrew arrived on scene, deployed the rescue swimmer, hoisted the man and safely transported him to emergency medical services (EMS) awaiting at land.

The man was reported to be in stable condition.
