The three persons aboard the vessel were later towed in to Cypress Cove Marina by a U.S. Coast Guard Station Venice 45-foot Response-Boat Medium (RB-M) boatcrew.

NEW ORLEANS — A Coast Guard MH-60T Jayhawk aircrew rescue three boaters from a disabled vessel near Southwest Pass, Louisiana. Thursday, August 24, 2023.
U.S. Coast Guard Sector New Orleans watchstanders received a call at approximately 11:55 a.m. from a passenger aboard the disabled 24-foot vessel.
Coast Guard Sector New Orleans watchstanders coordinated the launches of a Coast Guard Station Venice Response Boat-Medium (RB-M) boatcrew and a Coast Guard Air Station New Orleans MH-60T Jayhawk Medium-Range Recovery Helicopter aircrew to assist.
The MH-60T Jayhawk SRR helicopter aircrew located the disabled vessel adrift near Southwest Pass; lowered a radio and vectored in the Coast Guard Response Boat-Medium boatcrew to assist. The RB-M crew then put the vessel into a tow and transported them to Cypress Cove Marina in Venice, La.
No injuries were reported.
