Singapore (February, 2022) – Bell Textron Inc., a Textron Inc. (NYSE: TXT) company, announced the sale of the first two Bell 505 helicopters in Bangladesh to Ad-din Foundation, a private nonprofit organization serving underprivileged people in Bangladesh.

This two Bell 505 Jet Ranger X helicopters will be used for patient transfers between the eight hospitals that Ad-din Foundation operates across Bangladesh, medical evacuations (medevac) and VIP and corporate transport.

“The sale of the first two Bell 505 helicopters in Bangladesh show that organizations globally recognize the flexibility and efficiency that the Bell 505 helicopter can bring to their respective missions,” said Lane Evans, Director, Bell Helicopter 505 Sales. “We are proud that Ad-din Foundation has chosen the Bell 505NXi for their medical transfers and evacuations and corporate VIP missions, and we look forward to providing the support they need to launch their light single-engine helicopter operations.”

The Bell 505 is ideal for private charters, corporate executives, medical evacuations, utilities, public safety, pilot training and much more. The Bell 505 Jet Ranger X light single-engine helicopter offers a rare combination of rugged high performance, superior fuel efficiency, and a low cost of acquisition, maintenance and operation.

With the only dual-channel FADEC (Full Authority Digital Engine Control) in its class, the Bell 505 helicopter has plenty of power at high altitudes. Additionally, the high-tech Garmin G1000H NXi all-glass flight deck lowers pilot work load while the panoramic windows provide great visibility for all seats.

The first Bell 505 Jet Ranger X helicopter was delivered in 2017, and today there are more than 360 Bell 505 helicopters in operation across six continents, logging more than 100,000 global fleet flight hours (FH).
